The Blue Frog Legs Book Club had it's first meeting last Tuesday night. I didn't finish the book - life happens - but I have to say the discussion was really actually fun. Blog World is the strangest, most amazing place. It really was like a get together with friends. The live chat feature on Blog Frog was great, fast, and reminded me somewhat of chat rooms from the old days of AOL =). Even though I've still never officially met these gals in REAL world life, it was so much closer than just responding to a thread or reading their blog. When you have a topic to start with...the convo just seems to flow! I can also probably credit that to the amazing participants.
We are now starting a new book - my pick - which honestly makes me a little nervous. I'm really excited to read it, but it's definitely my "for fun" reading taste.
There is still time to join! I think there are books picked through February!
