Being back at work seems like nothing has changed. There are Christmas festivities going on, which is a nice little distraction from the norm, but it's almost like no time has passed since October 19th. Then, I go get my little boy and I realize everything is different. Everyone has been asking about him and of course I show them some of the 300+ photos (seriously) I've taken on my phone of him in the past two months. If you follow me on instagram...you know what I'm talking about. The other day I got to work and realized I didn't have a picture from today, so of course I just requested my sister, Maggie, take one and send it to me immediately! Then she sent me a video and my eyes definitely welled up. I just want to snuggle him! Oh how he loves to snuggle..and yep he's spoiled because that's mostly what we did during our 8.5 weeks at home together and I'm proud of it!
He really is a good baby. I just hope I can be the best mommy he needs me to be! I did this little photo shoot in our living room Monday night. The quality and lighting weren't very good, but I had to capture the moments because now he's two months and four days and I'm pretty sure he's bigger!
At his doctors appointment on Friday he got his two month shots...booo =(
The best thing though is that he's healthy.
He weighed 10lbs 1oz, 22 inches long.
He did so well during his check up. He was awake for his exam and showed the pediatrician just what he could do. He smiled at her and "talked" to her. I guess it's all part of his charming personality. Look out ladies...I mean stay way! He's mine! =) I cannot resist that toothless grin.

When I send him with Wesley to be changed or played with and plan to take a break, I'll hear Wesley talking to him on the changing table and you can forget the little bit of me time..I want to see that baby smiling. His little brain is growing so much. He's begun to try to hold on when I'm nursing him or when rocking him to sleep. I can also tell he's trying SO hard to find his paci when it falls out. His little hands just flail around and he shakes his head back and forth. Speaking of shaking his head. I had a very proud mommy moment when he began to mimic me shaking my head no. This kid is going to have a HUGE ego because all I do is tell him how smart, perfect, and cute he is.

We are so excited to spend time with family over the weekend. I love that he's so close to both of our families and gets to spend time with all of his cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. And that they love him so much. I can't wait to see what all the Santas in his life have found for him. =) He loves to stare at Christmas trees. Hopefully, this is the beginning of his love for everything Holiday!

God has really brought us Joy this Season!
Merry Christmas Eve Eve my Friends!
