This was around midday after we arrived at about 1am Saturday morning. I didn't think we'd be getting in the water because that morning when we went out for some groceries there were double red flags (hurricane Isaac had come through just two days before). When we returned there was only one red flag. So, obviously we weren't going to swim but we did stick out toes in and splash a little! The water and sky are always the prettiest after a big storm, but the humidity was super high and it was just plain hot. We only stayed about an hour and a half with plans to come back for longer on Sunday.
Jonah so wanted MeMe to just let him go. I feel like we'll be really in for it next year.
We all share a special love this wonderful place even with rough waves and scorching temps.
These are a combo of iphone/canon 7d photos.
XOXO

Aw, how exciting; sounds like he loved it! I bet the water was warm! You caught some great pics here! Love that first shot and the one of his little tootsies in the water! How adorable :o)
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute Looks like he had a great time.
ReplyDeleteOh look at that, the water experience & sand & salt & sea air, i bet he slept well after all this fun. My children all had funny reactions to their first beach trip, we lived in the tropics so they were all very young. When it was my twins turn, one didn't like the feel of sand & the other one put a mouthful in, ick, love Posie
ReplyDeleteThat first time playing in the sand is so special! We enjoyed that experience this past weekend, too. Wonderful pics!
