Last week, at the height of all that is illness, I found
myself unable to wear my contacts which are my preferred choice of eye wear.
So, the eyeglasses were a must. I'd love to wear them more, but the pair I have
now (and have been using the last two years or so) are just WAY wrong for me. I
love how they look but they have never fit correctly. They are just made too
wide for my face. Even with adjustment they just fall off. This annoys me so much, because my arms are usually full of baby boy, purse, camera, diaper bag, and on and on! I can't keep pushing them up constantly.
Anyway, so I'm definitely in the market for a new pair. Last week I just happened to get a nice email from GlassesUSA. I have never bought glasses online, for basically the reason above - the fit. It really is hard to choose a new pair of glasses. In the store or online. I am horrible at making those kinds of decisions. I need opinions. I feel like when you are in the store, there is a pressure to pick something and man is that overwhelming. I need more tiiime! So what to do? what to do?
I went to GlassesUSA.com and used the virtual mirror. Have you done this? Ha! It was so much fun. If you have a web cam you can just snap a photo or you can upload a photo. Then, you get to see what you look like with all the different frames.
I always want to try on really different glasses but usually shy away. This way I can try on whatever I want. And if I make the leap then decide the fit is wrong or they are just not for me there is a 30 day full refund. So, I guess if I order glasses online it may just save me time, some anxiety, and some money.
Try the virtual mirror for yourself:
