A Princess Party

Sunday, January 13, 2013

Back in December, Miss Emma ( my niece) turned 3. I helped her Mom throw a throw a vintage princess party. It was a really rainy day, so we were inside, late afternoon and it was...well cozy. Not ideal for a natural light photographer. It was so pretty and since it was before Christmas the decor was beautiful mixed with the Christmas lights. Andrea wrote a little about the inspiration for the party here

I have to say..the girl loves a good party and she knows exactly how it goes. Everybody comes and eats, then she asks if it's time for cupcakes - after the "real food" has been eaten. Then, when she's done - she quietly asks if it's time to open her presents. She then enjoys opening everyone and easily says thank you. She loves being a princess and the center of attention. We'll gladly let her any day.

These people can't take a regular picture but I think this one is pretty great...that's why I'm posting it twice!
