Happy Easter Friends. I hope this Easter celebration brought you joy, happiness, and the renewal of Spring. We have had a lovely weekend and I am looking forward to sharing our photos throughout this week (because there are many). Most of all I hope you heard the message that this day brings: Jesus, our Lord, is alive. The account of Jesus' death brings great emotions for me and knowing that he suffered for me makes my heart incredibly heavy, but I know the truth is that he also rose again and that is cause for celebration. We can enter into spring with renewed hearts and a zest for new life!
Jonah isn't quite old enough to understand Jesus' sacrifice and victory, he will some day, though. It's my job to make sure of it. Until then, I will just keep reassuring him that he is loved and celebrated.

I found Jonah some sports themed eggs and knew my basketball loving boy would love them.
Then a real Easter bunny came to see us - right outside the dining room window. I'd like to say this was totally random and a sign that spring is here and all is renewed, but this is more of a common occurence since this beauty belongs to our neighbor. Her name is Stella.
