Bright Lights Belhaven Nights was our first experience with anything like this. Our first time being a vendor was fun, but a lot of work. It was the kind of work that I don't think we have time for on the regular. This street festival is really just a big block party. Lots of people from outside the neighborhood come, but really it's mostly for the bands and just hanging out.The great folks that live within the barricades host friends and family at their homes and put up Christmas lights in celebration of the end of summer.
There are a lot of vendors but this isn't necessarily a shopping event, so we didn't know exactly what to expect. We gave away lots of cards with our IG shop and email and started an email list for those that just didn't have time to really look around or others that thought they might make an additional purchase in the future. I don't think we were really prepared for people to ask so many questions about where to find us, etc.
I was really proud of our set up. It took a few hours for it to look just right... and a few hours before that to figure out how to make everything level on these old Jackson streets., but in the end I think we probably had the cutest set up on in our section.
So here are a few photos from the day! Let us know what you think and what YOU would like to see sold online or on instagram @shopholeinmypocket!

So, not only did we get to have a great time setting up and making things pretty, we got to see some friends we don't to see to often, some neighbors, and of course lots of little munchkins that just wanted to go to the bounce houses and play in the children's area!

I love your set up! It is so cute and fun. It looks like you guys had a great day. Setting up a craft fair booth can be daunting. I just did a craft fair a few weeks ago, and it was exhausting! It is just an accomplishment to make it through:) Congratulations to you guys for creating something so wonderful. I just found your blog through "The Life of Bon" and am really excited to check out me. I love the blog name, and your design is beautiful! Hope you're having a great day!
