We're going local.

As some of you may know, my sister Andrea and I have a little resale instagram "shop" @shopholeinmypocket. There we sale clothes our kids have outgrown, don't wear, and items we've thrifted (that we don't keep for ourselves)- these all include handmade items by us and others. We decided a few months ago to have a little handmade sale, but by the time we put it into action it was mid-summer and people just weren't buying much more at that point, so we made the crazy decision to sign up to be a vendor at a local festival.

We decided for our first time out, we'd stick close to home. Bright Lights, Belhaven Nights is an annual festival held right in my neighborhood. Vendors have to live in, work in, or own a business within Greater Belhaven. This festival is really about the neighborhood getting together to listen to local music and is basically a huge block party to celebrate the end of summer. A place for the whole family together and sweat to death! ;)
