I decided to let Jonah open a gift every night this week. When I found the little vintage trucks at the Flea Market Saturday, and I new Shark Bath Towel at Target, I thought well if I give these to him all at once he won't care or he'll just fixate on one. This way he gets something new every night and it distracts him for a little while while I do party prep. So, we are through day 3 and I don't have day 4 and 5 lined up yet. I guess I'll be hitting up the hospital gift shop this afternoon!
Do you see that smile?! He loves his new big trucks. We had the saddest moment Wednesday mornings when he wanted to take the trucks with him to NaNa's, then left them on the kitchen counter. We were almost there and he said from the backseat "where's my big truck?" and I told him we left them at home, he burst into REAL tears saying I want you to go back right now and I want to share with Benjamin. The saddest moment of my week. He was so disappointed, but he got to go the grandma's and everything was all better.
Just two more days until the day. eek!

That truck is so cute!! What a fun idea to give him a little gift every day, the week before his birthday! I may have to steal this idea for next year. :-)
