The Wilde Olive Blog: 365 Photographs in 2014

365 Photographs in 2014

Sunday, December 29, 2013

Have you ever thought about what your life looks like over a years time? How you change? How your surroundings change? If you've ever done a 365 Project then you know. You have physical evidence of what that looks like. In 2011, I started a 365 project and gave up after I found out I was pregnant with Jonah and was just completely worn out. Wouldn't it have been amazing to really document that time though? I did the best I could at the time, but I want more. So, this year I'm committing to taking a photo (not with my iphone) every day in 2014.

I have been thinking about doing it again for the past couple of months, but never said anything aloud until my friend Sarah at Nurse Loves Farmer said it was one of her goals for 2014. So, we are going to form a support group on Facebook and do a link up once a week! Mindi from Simply Stavish is joining us too. She did a project last year, so we are looking to her for some advice. I am hoping that having some friends in it with me will help me stay motivated. I have loved watching my other friend Sarah (Hudson) over the past year. Her photography is gorgeous. There are several others I've followed and some on instagram too.

I am hoping this will also bring more photography talk back to my blog and help me continue to improve my skill. I'd love for you to go on that journey with me.

Would you like to join us? If so just let me know and we will support each other by adding you to our facebook group where we will discuss all things photography and 365.

Here's to 2014 and  a year of photographs!

  2. I'm so excited to be doing this project with you!

  3. I would love to join you! I did this a few years ago and by the end it became a chore because I lacked inspiration and support from other photographers. I haven't reached for my DSLR as much since then and I've been wanting to do the project again because I really enjoy looking back at that year, but I think the only way I could do it would be with other people.

    1. Hey Crystal this is the facebook group!
