Happy Friday Friends! Right off the bat I want to tell you about the new photo curating service I got to try this week! Polish My Pics, is like having a personal assistant to do all the little time consuming things like sorting, lightening, and cropping your photos. I know personally, I have a hard time sorting through my own personal photos and it just becomes overwhelming. When it comes to things like kid's birthdays, graduations, holiday parties or all those photos you took of your Christmas decorations it's easy to snap snap snap, but then sitting down after it all and actually going through the photos can be a nightmare. For under $10 you can have up to 50 photos edited, sorted and sent right back to your inbox. Polish My Pics will eliminate unusable photos, but still retain all your files sent back to you in just a couple of days. It is definitely worth checking out during such a busy season - which is every season when you have little ones right?

It has been so gloomy lately, which means dark, grainy, not so great photos. So, I hadn't had a chance to capture any of our Holiday Decor. So, Monday I had to take a little trip home for lunch and decided to pull my camera out quickly to take some shots of our living room decorations. Then, I sent them to PMP and they sorted cropped and lightened (because high noon indoors isn't really the best time either). I am so happy that I get to finally share them with you.

This is our third Christmas in our house and I think I've decorated a little differently every year. Pulling out ornaments and putting them on the tree is probably one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season. We've collected ornaments over the past several years and I just love adding a little one here and there each year. They've become a mixture of natural materials like burlap, seashells, and pine cones mixed with glitter, snow flakes and mercury glass.

Our mantel and shelves are covered in the bottom limbs from our tree and limbs cut from the huge "Christmas tree" in our side yard. Last year I made swags - but that hasn't happened this year - yet. Our stockings are hung and the mixture of natural and sparkling continues throughout the room. Here are some bits and pieces.

Polish My Pics gave me the opportunity to review their curating services at no charge, my opinions of their services are my own. Also, check out their retouching services for a more detailed look at how to get the perfect frame worthy photo.

  1. such pretty decorations! I love all the ornaments on your tree, they aren't all the same but they go together nicely! Mines just a weird mish-mash of childhood things haha.
