This past week I received my third fix! I get so excited to get these, you don't even know. I can't wait to see what's inside. I always want to share immediately but I refrain because it's usually dark and the photos I take won't even do the clothes justice. I have actually only post bits and pieces of what I've gotten on social media this far, so I decided since I had my box over the weekend I'd try to take some photos.
It was a cold, dark and gloomy weekend - so some of things I received were perfect. I have to say though this time I was a little less impressed with my stylist. While she chose great stuff, last time I got a more personal note and seemed like she'd put more thought into it. I straight up asked for winter whites and cozy sweaters and I kind of got that, but it wasn't really what I expected. I also got all items closer to the top of my price range. So, I'm less likely to keep 2-3 pieces.
I'd love to hear what you think...
This top and bracelet both fit well and I liked them enough, but the top was a little above my price range for something I'm probably going to put a cardigan over and the bracelet was beautiful, but with my recent Noonday show, I felt like my $34 would be spent more wisely on something that was more me. Do you think I am making a mistake in sending these guys back?
Despite this terrible photo, this shirt is a creamy soft winter white and I really like it, but I'm just not sold. Even though it has a built in under shirt, I'll still have to wear an undershirt under it (under under under). I like the draping. It's very flattering from the front, but hangs a little funny when you look from the side. Here I have it on with tights but I'd most likely wear it with dress pants to work or jeans/cords. A keeper?
THIS SWEATER! It's like the great debate. I love the IDEA of this sweater. I love the feel of this sweater. I'm just not so sure about the look of the sweater on my body. It's really soft and a slight high/low style... but it's not exactly doing me any favors in my worst areas - the middle. I asked on my Facebook page and got mixed responses. It probably be a weekend sweater I'd wear with tights. I could wear it to work, but I'd have to wear it with heels for sure. What do you think I should do?
The FATE Aztec sweater. The one I knew I'd keep all along. I've been wanting a black and white aztec sweater and I'd been wanting stitch fix to send me one - I just didn't know exactly how to verbalize it. I haven't quite figured out the outfit part for places other than home, but I will for this season at least. It's really warm too and it's really cold here this week! So bonus!
For the most part, I love Stitch Fix. The concept is awesome, but it's a lot of items if they are all around $50. I want to do monthly fixes, but I can't spend that much on clothes every month. I am hoping they come up with a bimonthly plan, or a seasonal box with more items would be fun too!
Have you tried Stitch Fix? If so what do you think?

I LOVE that aztec sweater! So I'm glad you kept that one! And I'm on the fence about the other stuff. So I totally feel where you're coming from on those!
ReplyDeleteI really love the Aztec sweater on you. It's really great. I like the white and blue shirts a lot too, but if they're $50? Pass! I'd return the sweater and the bracelet. My .02 :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, the solid sweater is not a keeper
