Three Family Christmases

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

Our Christmas celebrating started a week ago tonight and wrapped up just yesterday. I did work a some in between, nursed a sick little boy, caught said sickness myself and have yet to take down any Christmas decor. So, while it was far from a perfect celebration it was a celebration that I will look back on fondly. Lord knows I have enough pictures to recall the occasion. So buckle up for Christmas photo overload. Here we go with three family Christmases...then come back in a bit for our actual Christmas Morning. I decided it deserved it's own post.

Last Monday we celebrated with my family at my parents house. There was food devoured, paper shredded, toys galore and family time well spent.

On Tuesday, we headed out to the country to my Grandparent's home to do our big family Christmas. You can't help but play outside at Grandma's because there's nothing but space to run and somehow out in the country, it never gets boring.

and Grandma has a seemingly endless supply of cookies which serve as a great bribe for photo taking in matching outfits. Pictured below are my sisters' kids and Jonah of course who are my Grandparents 11th, 13th, 15th, and 16th Great Grandchildren. Benjamin is currently the baby of the whole bunch...and the cheesiest.

On Saturday, we headed out of town to celebrate with my husband's family. I was pretty miserable the whole time with this cold, but it was still time well spent. Here a few memories from gift time with the kiddos.

How many Christmas celebrations does your family attend? It's sometimes hard to juggle "doing Christmas" with all of our family, but that's definitely a good problem to have. We are so blessed.
