Even after the loss of Wesley's Grandmother, just the Saturday before, we managed to pull everything together for a fabulous Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday. We played and played at MeMe and Poppies and I pitched in my Broccoli Salad and a Pumpkin Pie (with help from Jonah and my niece Laurel). We had Turkey and Dressing and so many good side dishes! Here are a few photos from the day at my in-laws.
The table setting was beautiful as always!

Our hearts and houses are obviously full looking at this crowd and I am so thankful for each and every one of these people, little and all grown-up. We made a Thankful Tree and displayed it behind the table in the kitchen and it was so good to really ask each person to say something that they are thankful for. So many of us had too many things to count!
Jonah has been asking me "Do you know how to make Pumpkin Pie?" "Can we make a pumpkin pie?" "You didn't buy the stuff to make Pumpkin Pie." since several weeks ago. So, when we were scouting the pantry for Thanksgiving Dinner ingredients on Wednesday, I came across a can of Pumpkin and finally remembered! We sent Uncle Patrick to the store with a list and Wednesday night, the boy got to make his pumpkin pie, so of course I had to capture him enjoying it! He did enjoy it very much.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, weekend and that all of your food dreams came true. =)
I am so thankful for all of you who read what I put here. It's a blessing to know you all are here, so please tell me how you enjoyed your Thanksgiving this year!
