National Cheesecake Day + Weekend Bits and Pieces

Shari's Berries sent us their mini cheesecake trio for National Cheesecake Day on Saturday and ooh my, they were so good! 

We had a fun pizza and cheesecake dinner on saturday night after some serious back to school shopping for the 4 year old. He has totally outgrown almost everything and now that he's at an age where boys wear out their clothes, we aren't getting as many hand-me-downs. I found some great deals at Carter's/OshKosh and Crewcuts, so I think we are pretty much set to get the school year started off! I can hardly believe he'll be going five days a week this year. It's only half days, but it's going to be a big change for everyone since I'll also be working from home. It'll be good though, I think, I hope. 

I know I'm ready for us to have a routine again. We've had a great summer and it's so good to get to be flexible, but routine (that we can sometimes break from) will be good for the boys and especially me.  Having some set work hours will do my unstructured brain some good. 

I am so looking forward to getting creative this fall with sessions and I can't wait to get to work with some awesome companies here on the blog! I can't be thankful enough for where God is leading me and even though, I am trusting him in this season of change, I find myself in need of more and more encouragement to keep my creativity flowing. I recently listened to Grace for the Good Girl and Wild and Free  and found them amazing. I could go on and on about each of these books, so if you've read them, let's discuss! 

Are you drooling yet? I used to be so anti-cheesecake and now I have no idea why. This was such a nice treat and you know we love any reason to celebrate!

What are your favorite treats? Also, what are you reading these days? I need some Audible suggestions to get me through the long months of editing I'm about to be doing! =)
