Better Things | Swag Bag Giveaway!

Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Have you seen this new series on FX? It's called Better Things. Created by a mother about motherhood as a single mom to three girls. There's a little bit of everything that we as moms can relate to.

Sam is doing it all alone though and three girls proves to be a challenge. You'll see Sam's motherhood  evolve parenting a teen, tween, and younger daughter. She's tough when she needs to be and a big softy when it comes to her girls. Aren't we all a bit like that?

Pamela Aldon, creator and star, says that Sam is a bit of an exaggerated version of herself. In Better Things she's getting to live out those what if situations with no filter. What the sneak peek and video clips here --> Better Things. This show is a harsh but endearing look at the reality that motherhood can be. It's tough and you have to be tougher. It's exhausting and sometimes you have to Fall asleep in your kid's bed knowing it'll bite you when you wake up at 3am. It's sweet and bitter all at the same time. You feel like you are loosing your mind and finding your true self all at the same time. Motherhood is hard and the most rewarding all at the same time. I think Pamela Aldon's reality will bring a rawness and realness to the viewers while making us laugh cry into our red wine.

Now, I get to make someone's day. FX and Better Things sent this mom a little happy and an extra one for one of you. It's SO simple to get your own swag bag. The pillow scene might be my favorite!
