We have been big into dress up since last Halloween when Jonah realized how AWESOME the dressing up and getting free candy party of Halloween is! He's so excited this year about Halloween that he's decided he wants to do a Trick or Treat themed birthday party to celebrate turning five!
What better time in your life to have a dress up party than when you are five?
We are going for cute halloween, no ghouls or zombies around here this year. We like smiling Jac-O-Lanterns, cute bats, and white sheet ghosts and thanks to Oriental Trading, who provided us with some great party supplies, we get to celebrate Halloween all month and we will have the cutest Trick or Treat party to celebrate our big boy!
We decided to go with a black and white theme with pops of orange and some purple mixed in there too!
We love the polka dots and how the different items we chose all work together. We picked up plenty of party cups for our guests. Balloons because they add SO much to great party!
Last but not least of course we grabbed some flashlights for trick or treating that say Shine God's Light. They are a great reminder while we go house to house on Halloween!
I have gotten so much inspiration for the party and for Halloween from Oriental Tradings party ideas and crafts listed below and I loved browsing their costumes as well! I still haven't decided what Ezra should go as... help!
