Mixed Berry Jam Butter + Fundraising for Harvey + Irma Victims!

 I wouldn't necessarily call this a recipe, but maybe just a simple tutorial you don't want to miss. As a mom, I am always looking for products with better, more natural, pure ingredients. I want to be sure that, if it's possible, I can provide the best food to nourish my children's bodies, as well as, my own.

So I try to combine things we already love with better, real ingredients. I used butter made with Real California Milk for this Mixed Berry Jam Butter and I know I can trust the quality, not only of my simply fruit jam but of the butter I used to make these biscuits the perfect Sunday morning treat!

Several years ago, I was given book that contained beautiful meals and tablescapes along with ideas for each part of the day. In the beginning of the book it discussed hosting brunch and one of the things it mentioned was whipped jam butter to serve on breads and scones, etc. Since then I've always love the idea of mixing my jam with real butter. 

Instead of whipping though, I typically just melt! Sometimes I do this on a small pot on the stove and sometimes, like today, I just add 

• two heaping spoonfuls of pure fruit jam (Strawberry and Blueberry today) and 
• 3 tablespoons of butter made from Real California Milk into a ramekin and 
• melt it in the microwave.

I promise you this will improve your biscuit enjoyment by quite a bit! It's easy to spread and oh so creamy! Plus, you don't have to choose between butter or jam... you just choose both!
