GoodtoWow2
So, week three for shoot and edit is here! I'm really enjoying doing this each week. I have learned some new things about using CS5, which is fairly new to me. I have been a Lightroom girl for a while now. So, that's what I use for most of my basic editing (adjusting levels, denoising, adjusting fill light and contrast). If you haven't tried Lightroom, it's fairly exspensive, but you can try it free for 30 days on Adobe's site. I STRONGLY suggest it. It doesn't replace photoshop, but I made it for a long time with just Lightroom and basic Photoshop 7.
Anywho, go on over to Jill's blog to check out the first half of Shoot and Edit AND do come back Thursday for a little edit of the photo above. The theme this week "good night" and one night last week {at about 9PM} while I was a little short on inspiration for my 365 I just put an inquiry out on facebook for suggestions. Well, of course a friend comes through and suggest nighttime lights. While I wound up with a different picture that night, I decided to go up tonight. I really like having a roof deck, but it seems that I mostly go up there for photos!

Thursday when I post the edit I hope to add some old pics I have of the city from my roof that I think turned out pretty cool - when I once rented a fish eye lens. I hope I can find them!

See you guys and gals Thursday!
but you're definitely welcome to mosey on back before then =)
