Jonah Wilder: Four Months

 Oh Jonah, my sweet sweet man. Four whole months old. I can't believe you are growing so much! and I can't believe I've only known you for four months. It's the weirdest feeling now, remembering a time when you didn't exist, but I guess you were always there... just waiting in our hearts. I'm so lucky to get to know you. You have such a sweet spirit. Your smiles seem to get bigger every day. You're learning so much about how to use your voice and especially your laugh. Oh how I love the sound. I wish I knew what was going on in that brain of yours sometimes. I just love you so much! -Mommy

14 pounds 4 ounces

2 feet and 1 half inch tall

43.5cm of brain power

45th percentile for height and weight

75th percentile for head circumfrence

At four months Jonah likes:

his toys (sophie, bumblebee, rings, rattles, tube ball thingy, tag blanket)

books-putting things in his mouth-his toes-getting his diaper changed-his play gym

his bumbo-the sound of his own voice-sitting up-music-being carried around the house

At four months Jonah dislikes:

shots - tummy time - his first cold

This month Jonah has experienced his first Super Bowl Party, his first Valentine's Day, his first cold, and his first time to sit up on his own! He has transitioned to his crib - mostly. I've stopped breast feeding him all together and he is exclusively on formula now. He's wearing mostly 0-3 month clothes and some 3-6. He's lost a lot of hair, especially on he sides and he has that line across the back. He's managed to hang on to his mohawk and his mullet (rock on little dude)! The new hairs growing in are MUCH lighter - dare I say they are blonde even. That'd be kind of weird. We'll see! His eyes are maintaining a blue gray hue. He is super chunky and I am loving it - his cheeks most of all!
