with two of my favorite girls!
Recently, I've had a few inquires about doing professional photography work. I have been kind of out of the game since all the changes in the past year and just wanting to be able to meet all the needs of my family, my daytime job, and take care of myself. However, I terribly miss the satisfaction doing a REAL photoshoot brings me! So, I talked to Wesley and decided that I would dedicate one weekend per month to scheduled shoots for this year. I feel like it's doable without neglecting other areas of my life. *fingers crossed* So, when I told my sister Andrea, she said "me first!" Well, that wasn't exactly a quote but I believe it was something similar. So, last Saturday - even though it was probably the coldest day of the year here so far - we decided to go for it! And as you can see in these photos Miss Emma pretty much took over! She was so full of energy and the child NEVER gets cold. Look out baby brother!
I also decided that instead of doing a new blog dedicated specifically to my photography business that I would just use Facebook for now. So, Monday evening my new Gray Mornings Photography facebook page went live! We already have about 60 followers- mostly local! Yay! So, for previews, news, etc. Head on over there and click that like button!

Now, on a more personal note.
I am beyond excited about "baby brother" or as he will offically be called Benjamin Owen joining our crew mid to late April. Emma is such a good big cousin to Jonah (they stay together at NaNa's every day) and I know she'll be great with her brother...giving him bottles and pacis and toys to look at. She'll show him how to properly do his tummy time and kick his feet up in the play gym. She'll be his boss- always, but will love him to pieces! And he and Jonah will be almost exactly 6 months apart and in the same grade in school, along with my niece (on the other side) who is expected mid-March! Much to look forward to this Spring!

Very sweet! :-)
