Something New{ish}

I love to create things. I'm one of those people that looks at something and says "I could make that" or I'll even buy something, then a month later I'll have made my own (feather headband)!
I've been making some paper party items for the past little while now. Mostly through the encouragement and help of my sister Andrea. She pretty much forced me to make Emma's Birthday Party invitation and cupcake toppers! So, we used a combo of what I made and some free printables. You can find some pretty awesome free printables at Living Locurto. I have yet to post any photos from Emma's Storybook Brunch back in December - but I eventually plan to! You can see a few photos on Andrea's blog and here's last year's party! We love to party by the way!

Last month I decided that we would have a little party to celebrate my little sister's first boy -it'll be in a few weeks- and I decided to make the invitation myself. I think it's my best yet!? Then I started doing more and more. Here's some of what I came up with:
