I feel like all I've been doing lately is complaining. I'm tired. I'm overwhelmed. It's such a struggle when you are trying so hard to not feel that way. We've had a seriously rough week/weekend and I'm ready for it to move on. Last week was probably the MOST stressful week I've EVER had at my current job. When I see the light at the end of the tunnel WHAM sick baby. THIS is real life and it ain't so pretty.
Jonah woke up crying at 1:30 Friday morning with a fever of 102.7. We gave him a little tylenol and wound up holding him most of the night. . . trading off. Then when he woke up, he was a little fussy but not TOO bad. I just hate when he's not his happy little self. This continued through the day running a slight fever. Then Friday night we were back at 103. We called the doctor and they just told us to treat it with tylenol. Well now here we are on Tuesday and the fever has been gone since Sunday and he's still not back to his old happy self... and it's breaking my heart! Fever virus? teething? I don't really know but I'm ready for it to go away!
It really wasn't all bad though - just look at this cute BIG BOY! He'll be 9 Months Thursday.
and We've still managed to hang out with my family and my sister who is in town from Colorado. He's a trooper most of the time, but he's not eating well and not sleeping well either. So, that can be wearing on any little body. Hopefully we are looking at sunnier days the rest of the week to boost our spirits a little.

I'm still trying to look on the bright side of things and enjoy the summer as much as I can!
We got to have a little birthday party fun Sunday evening. I am definitely going to share more photos later. My nephew turned two a month ago today, so we had a little party for him while he is in town. AND I took his two year pictures. It was so HOT and sticky, but we managed to get some great ones. Here's a little preview.
More previews to come on my Gray Mornings Photography and Design facebook page.
