Each week, I post photos from throughout our week and link up with 366 Rewind. Well this is just that post, plus a little more. First your weekly iPhone dump.
Sunday, Jonah and I spent most of the morning in the house just playing and trying to do a little laundry and prep for a trip we are taking this weekend (if Isaac doesn't ruin our plans). Daddy attempted a little Isaac prep outside. Our detached garage usually floods when there's a lot of rain and well I'm predicting a lot of rain.
We attempted a small container garden this year. We just tried tomatoes and some herbs. I don't REALLY understand why my husband came up with this little idea because he doesn't eat tomatoes and we haven't even touched the herbs. With a little baby in the Mississippi heat we can't obviously BOTH work outside at the same time. Hopefully, next year Jonah will be able to join us more in the spring and play a little while we work. Our tomato vine produced exactly five tomatoes. These two are a lot smaller than they appear...
Any advice for container gardens or easy growers?
So here's hoping that our week turns out great! I'd REALLY love to go to the beach this weekend, but I'm afraid Isaac may have another idea. Not that the hurricane will still be here on Friday, but will we be able to get gas? I had to go to 4 gas stations today before I could fill up... Will there be power as we travel? Will the rain stick around through the weekend? I guess we will play it by ear and just see what happens!
