Scenes from our Summer Weekends

this is such a random post, mostly photos from instagram (@stephaniesclark check out #mississippisummer13 and join me if you wish), so my words will be short because the pictures are many. this spring/summer we have been working on house repairs (from the hail storm in march) and what seem like upgrades but they are more like must be dones, so jonah and I have been hanging out a lot while daddy works outside. we've spent time in the yard just playing, walking the neighborhood and doing a little gift shopping over the past two weekends.

we had brunch at another broken egg for my sister andrea's birthday and took advantage of the free splash pad entertainment right outside.

this past saturday we attended a birthday party for a little friend around the corner at our neighborhood park.  complete with baby pool swimmin' and strawberry cake. 

Then while daddy worked jonah and I attended a handmade market and did a little shopping. I didn't actually buy anything pictured...but wanted to...not to mention the honeysuckle vodka lemonade we (my sister and i - not jonah) got to try... sold!

on father's day we hung out with wesley's family at a very nice kid friendly pool. jonah loves the water. " I want that water" "mommy swim" "splash daddy" were a few of the phrases i heard over and over on sunday. 

Thanks to our sweet family, he (okay me too) got to enjoy unlimited sunshine and water fun!
