While I love when seasons bring something new, I still feel a sadness like something is ending. Every summer feels like a chapter in life. What memories did we make? What did we discover about ourselves this year? Did we really make the best of it. This summer was busy. We have worked hard and haven't had all that much time to play. That's why three weeks later, I'm just now posting our pictures from our day at the lake. I think I said last summer, that I'd come here more and yet this was our first trip. At least it was a memorable one. I wish it wasn't so short.

You can see the first part of our trip to Yogi here and last year's trips here and here (ahhh Jonah's so little!)

Beautiful pictures and beautiful little boy! Looks like you had a really great day at the beach. Summer is slipping here too, although our Septembers are usually pretty nice. I can tell the days are getting shorter... sigh...

Oh, I know what you mean, the feeling of sadness! I only have one child (he's almost 2), its just crazy how time flies, and it seems like it was just last September and my boy was just learning to walk. Now he's a little boy :( But time goes on I suppose.
ReplyDeleteLove, LOVE your boy's little buddha belly! I am so glad that is the last thing to go as they get older! My kid is pretty slim, but he still has a cute baby belly. So cute! These photos are beautiful, thanks so much for sharing them at Photog Show and Tell!
