Toddler Boy Fall Style

Tuesday, October 22, 2013

There's no secret around here that I love clothes. The only thing that was disappointing about having a baby boy was the lack of creativity I felt when picking a baby wardrobe. When J was born and for the year to follow I leaned way toward baby traditional southern style. Complete with monogrammed bubbles, handmade Jon Jon's, and seersucker everywhere. I love that beachy southern style of summer time! I don't really like babies in "man clothes" I wanted my baby to look like a baby, he has the rest of his life to look like a man.

Now that my boy is getting a little older, I'm mixing in more and more big boy clothes. I struggle a little with "his" style and what suits him. We have a good mix of All American Boy (Gap, Toms, Polos), Longalls for Fall and dressy holiday wear, and we are growing a collection of comfy boy pants and tshirts (probably his favorite- he thinks leggings are "jamas").

It really is fun to dress a boy. Who needs a girl? (although that'd be fun too)

I couldn't wait for it to be cool enough for my boy to wear the outfit below and finally last week we hit the low 70's and on went the sleeves!
Shirt- GAP hand-me-down // Leggings- Mason and the Tamborine // Shoes - Minnetonka

  2. Boys are super fun to dress....I'm too "old fashioned" to put them in leggings, but I think they are still super cute!

  4. Love the Boy Genius shirt and the striped leggings with leather. I would actually pair those together if I could.
