Toddler Boy Fall/Winter Style: Being Thrifty

Monday, November 18, 2013

This Fall, I've been trying some new things with Jonah's wardrobe, I wrote a little about what I was loving and our eclectic style here. Now that we are really getting in to Fall weather (except I actually put sandals on him yesterday) I wanted to share a little more about some of our thrifty finds that I am loving on him right now!

I have always loved seeing my nephew Connor in a vest. He lives in Colorado though, so he gets a little more opportunity to wear that style. I have found, though, that it can be a good option for us on cool mornings and evenings here in Mississippi when it's warmer during the day. I actually bought this Gymboree Puffer Vest from another Mama on Instagram. I don't really shop gymboree, it seems a little pricey to me for what they have to offer style wise, but J has worn many a gymboree hand-me-down.

Vest: Gymboree - purchased second hand on IG under $10 (similar below) // Shirt: Kelly's Kids - 2012 Warehouse Sale ($10) // Navy Cords: Sonoma (hand-me-down from a blog friend) // Boots: Primigi Hand-Me-Downs (similar Primigi Groungy Chukka Boot )

Same vest and cords with a flannel and hat for a very cool morning.

Since I love the look so much, I put together a few options that are available now at your everyday retailers - of course I'd look for coupons and sales!
