I unfortunately didn't take that many pictures. I left my camera in the car most of the time and relied on my iPhone which mostly consisted of photos of football and the new, very trendy coffee shop in downtown starkville (that deserves a post of it's own).
My Mother in Law's table is always beautiful set for every holiday and I always try to snap a photo or two of her latest holiday decor before we all just make a mess of it! This table is a little deceiving though because we've reached a point where we need double the seating you see here. Of course, Jonah had to claim a seat at the big table and then proceeded to eat none of his food.

I have to say, not just because my team won, this was the most fun I've had at The Egg Bowl in the past 3 years. We had great seats, with plenty of room, and mississippi state wore the most awesomely ridiculous gold accents on their uniforms! I got to be silly with my sister, who is an alum of the opposing team and jump up and down and dance like a crazy person. It dropped to about 26 degrees while we were there, but it was worth it.
We headed back home on Friday, got our Christmas Tree on Saturday and celebrated a friends birthday Saturday night, then headed to the country on sunday for some time with my ginormous family.
A tradition and pretty much right of passage as a kid at my grandparents, is that you spend a little time on the bales of hay. When I was a bigger kid than J, my cousins and I spent hours playing on the hay. We came up with all kinds of games. We would play some sort of tag, hide and seek, and who knows what else. These little turkeys had a blast.
I hope we can keep adding to the holiday memories for years to come!
Happy Holidays!
