I think my modeling selfie shots are getting better - trying to keep the focus on the clothes is just not natural to me. Also, is it just me or has blogger's ability to make my photos look weird getting worse? I really don't want to learn a new blogging platform. . . oh smoogle (because I would never say anything derogatory about the big G).
On to what you came to see. I am still pretty much loving stitch fix. I have never sent all 5 items back and this time I came really close to just keeping them all. I reeeaally wanted that 25% discount. Alas, it didn't work out. Maybe next time.
I forgot to write down all the names for these pieces, sorry, so I'll just have to number them. We'll start with the keepers!
Top No. One: LOVE! The sleeves were a little, tiny bit awkward (mostly because of my chunky arms, but I loved the way the body fit and that it covered my bum. Hallelujah for shirts to wear with leggings!
Top No. Two: These photos are kind of awkward but I hope you can tell enough about the top because I really like it. The green is really more of a deep turquoise and I think it will be a great transition top into spring. I wore it with brown pants and a sweater this past weekend and it was so comfy and easy breezy.

please excuse the dog hair on my leggings... wearing black and having a white dog is my personal daily struggle... |

I'm weird. I know - taking photos of yourself gets super boring though. . . |
Top No. Three: This may be my favorite stitch fix item I've ever gotten. It kind of looks like the shirt is in motion all the time. The pattern is a pair of drum sticks I think. Totally random, but I love the color combo and the style and fit. Also, I wore it to work with a pair of grey pants from WH/BM last week and was asked if I had lost weight. So, maybe I'll wear it every day.
Top No. Four: This shirt was SO amazingly soft, I WANTED to keep it, but I'm not even going to show you the photo of it hugging my hips and me looking about sixteen weeks pregnant. It just wasn't flattering for my body type. I even had my mom try it on and it actually looked good on her, but since I didn't keep the last item - we weren't going to get the 25 percent off - she sent it back.
Kut from the Kloth: Boyfriend Jeans: I am a fan of a lot of things about these jeans..except they don't fit and I don't think "boyfriend" is a style designed for some who is hardly 5'3 and not mary kate olson.
I also looked them up on the website and they did not look like this.
What do you think? Did I make the right choices?

That first top??? I die! I need that in my life!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy with that one!
DeleteI agree. That first top is magic. Oh and P.S. I love the remote in your hand. lol. Kudos to you for actually taking decent photos of your clothing pieces! Mine are all lame mirror selfies. ha ha
ReplyDeletethanks! I tried to hide the remote...but then thought who really cares and didn't bother. It's enough trying to get the right focal length for a selfie. I should have used my zoom lens. oh well lol
DeleteI really like the things you kept!! It's such a bummer the green top didnt work because the color is gorgeous on you! Oh well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Courtney. They have actually sent me quite a few things in dark greens that I've kept, so it didn't really bother me to send it back. The material was amazing though! I asked for lighter colors next time.
DeleteLOVE this post! You look SO cute!! Seriously. So cute. I am just dying to try stitch fix but I'm way too cheap. You got some great pieces! Bummer about the soft green top. Maybe they can send you something in a similar color?
ReplyDeleteI'm super jealous that you get Stitch Fix! Love all of these pieces!
ReplyDeleteI love your first top the rest I'd send back,
