...and then there were four

When we decided to start growing our family, Jonah came along pretty quickly. It wasn't like we were young and need to wait a little bit longer it just happened more quickly than we thought, then followed the year of change. Well, that was a little over three years ago, when we found out we were expecting the J man. Since then, he has brought so much joy to our lives and we have settled in nicely as a family of three. So nicely in fact, I have had a hard time deciding to add another to the mix, BUT I never imagined our family just being three. I always dreamed of my children having siblings, just as I did, Wesley and I are both the middle of three children and are very close to our siblings... I wouldn't want it any other way. So, now we get to share that gift with Jonah. Yes, our family is growing. . .

We are currently in "survive the first trimester mode" because just like the last, this hasn't been easy for me. It's actually been very hard, but this is a happy announcement post, I'll save my "I don't feel cut out for pregnancy" posts for later.

We are currently 11 weeks and the baby is looking great! I have actually gotten to see the little one twice now (at 6 weeks and 10 weeks) and we will probably get to see him/her again very soon.

We are so excited to watch Jonah become a big brother and to meet a new little soul that I know we'll love more than we ever thought possible. I know Jonah will be great as a big brother, though he doesn't quite understand yet what is happening! There hasn't been a baby on either side of our family since April 2012, so this one will get some spoiling for sure. Jonah will be almost Three when this one arrives and I feel great about he timing. Even though it means two birthday parties to plan in October!
