I have to admit that I, even as a self proclaimed girly girl, tend to neglect some of my beauty routine (if you can even call it that). Number one most neglected thing on that list is usually my nails. Specifically, when it comes to a manicure. I often slap some polish on my toes if I'm going to be wearing sandals and then just touch it up until by some fluke I have a chance to redo it. The last time I had a professional manicure/pedicure was just before Jonah was born... that's 30 months and counting. It is time for an intervention! I've been blogging a little more about some beauty and fashion for myself which has really been a treat! Indulging in Stitch Fix and trying beauty products with influenster have really put me back in touch with the girl that used to take over an hour to do hair and makeup each morning. I really love taking the time to make myself feel pretty!

When Kim contacted me about Jamberry, I was truthfully a little hesitant as I am not great at doing my own manicures and not really very bold with nail color and patterns. I was wrong though. Applying Jamberry was enjoyable and a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. It was a heck of a lot easier than applying polish. Plus, there are even great choices for those of us who tend to be a little more conservative in the nail department. Seeing all the beautiful and tasteful ways the patterns are used though, makes me want to go a little bolder this summer! This was my very first time applying Jamberry nails so obviously they aren't perfect but I'd be happy to share what worked for me. I found it helpful to watch a couple of people apply them on you tube before my own attempt!
I am a stay at home mom to two little girls and a part time realtor. I live in Katy, Texas a suburb of Houston where my husband works and travels in the oil industry. I am a lover of all things cooking and crafting and slightly addicted to pinterest. My two girls are all girl and can not get enough of pink, princesses, and sparkles. When I discovered Jamberry I got involved for two reasons. The first reason was their Junior's line for little girls. My girls LOVE them and it is something I can do with them and best of all their is no drying time, smudging, or pink nail polish spilled on my carpet! Second, time is not something that I have a lot of and I can do my nails and toes in front of the TV after the girls go to bed. They always look great and I can put them on and forget about it.
Jamberry nail wraps are a solid vinyl covering that can be applied directly to the nail to achieve a look not found anywhere else. This special material is both pressure and heat activated to create a water tight bond to your nail. The shields are made in the USA, non-toxic, latex free, formaldehyde free, nonporous, never tested on animals, won't damage your nails, and can be used on artificial nails. Each adult sheet is enough for 2 pedicures and 2 manicures as the extra can be reused. Each Junior sheet can be used for up to 4 manicures and 4 pedicures based on the size of the child's nails and are designed for children 8 years and younger. The nail wraps are buy 3 get 1 free! The wraps can be trimmed to any size or shape with simple cuticle scissors. And on my website you can even design your own, uploading pictures or designs, etc.
These designer nail wraps are made to last up to two weeks on fingers and six weeks on toes. I will tell you that I keep mine on for 8 weeks and they really do last and look just like the day I put them on after 8 weeks. The only reason I take them off is because of the new growth and you may find you need to remove yours sooner as my nails grow slow. Unlike traditional nail polish, they won’t chip and require no drying time. It’s so easy to achieve a professional, salon look at a fraction of the cost!
