Catch the Moment 365 | Week 34

Friday, August 29, 2014

As a plugged in the numbers for this week's 365 photos, I started thinking about how the majority of the year has now just gone by. In just a couple of days it will be September. Doesn't September feel like we are so close to rounding out the year? I love Fall, I love the change in season (although here in Mississippi we are probably a long way away from cooler weather) but I hate how it feels like more time has passed and another year is just gone. I may be jumping the gun a little, but I can't help but get a little nostalgic for time passed. I mean just look at how much my little one has changed since I started this project: Week One and yet we haven't really changed all that much.

It also makes me think, though, about how close we are to meeting a new little member of our family. Will day 276 be a picture of him? Will it be a little sooner, a little later, how will the rest of our year look once there are four of us to document each week? It leaves me excited and nervous all at the same time.

So, here we are with another seven days documented in such various buy all precious ways that I want to remember.

232|365 I love how fresh flowers just brighten up the indoors.

233|365 Jonah started going to Mother's Morning Out again last week.

234|365 This is such a random belly shot, but I felt SO big this day and this angle makes my look hilarious. I couldn't help but share it!

235|365 On Saturday, Jonah insisted he go shopping with me and we brought home a magnetic fishing set he discovered in the consignment store. I mean how could I say no.

236|365 We have been working on updating our room a bit since we are moving baby brother in, so (and I may have mentioned this before) we have moved our bed around. We don't have a headboard since we didn't need one in the position it was in before, but now there's a big empty wall- so I made some Euro Shams last week and I'm still figuring out pillow arrangement, but I'm really not sure why I even bother since that little crab to the right just piles them all in the middle of the bed so he can jump on them anyway!

237|365 We start the week every week now with a visit to the OB. Wesley doesn't always go, but it's nice to have him there sometimes. He'd missed several and since we get Ultrasounds/Bio Physical Profiles every visit now he likes to see what that crazy boy in there is up to... mostly resting his BIG head on my bladder but it's fun to see him and check on how much he's grown. This week we really confirmed that he does in fact have a head FULL of hair!

238|365 Nothing better than a sleeping little one in a big ole bed right? I want to snuggle him just looking at the picture!

So there you have another week and a little peek into our everyday. I am so glad you are on this journey with us.

Every Friday SarahMindi, and I host a place for photographers of all kinds to share, explore, grow and connect. Our common goal: one photo, every day, for three hundred and sixty five days. Whether you are using a fancy smancy professional camera, your first DSLR, a point and shoot, or your ever-so-handy phone camera, we want to see your photos! We want to see the moments you caught each day. How amazing will it be to see each of us accomplish something that seems so big? For more info on how to join in start here.
