Hi Spring! I am so glad you decided to stick around a little bit. We have had so much rain that I think we might float away but we had a beautiful weekend! Saturday night, we died eggs (fake eggs) with Jonah and he loved it. All the dye was going to spill every second and I almost had a panic attack but it was fun. HA! We had a busy weekend filled with birthday parties, family, and events - we haven't gotten to hunt any eggs yet, but I'm excited for next weekend. Sunday afternoon I decided to get a little creative and make these Easter Egg Hunt Pudding Cups with SUPER Snack Pack Pudding

These Easter Egg Hunt Snack Pack Pudding Cups are so versatile you have lots of room to be creative! I used Honeymaid Graham Crackers for "dirt" in the chocolate cups or "sand" in the vanilla cups to give the pudding a little texture and crunch! yum! I also candy coated Oreos to make the Eggs! So here are the steps I used.

Supplies I used:

  • SUPER Snack Pack PUDDING Cups Chocolate and Vanilla
  • HoneyMaid Graham Crackers
  • Oreos
  • White Melting Chocolates or Candy Coating. I used White so that I could do a variety of color.
  • Whipped Cream (I whipped my own but you can also use Reddi Whip)
  • Sprinkles
  • Food Coloring
  • Marshmallow Easter Candy (optional)

Steps for Candy Covered Oreos:

  1. Spread a Layer of Waxed Paper on the counter top
  2. Melt Chocolate or Candy Coating according to package directions. I used 1 Cup of white chocolate morsels and prefer using a glass measuring cup for this task because it has a handle and typically heats evenly in the microwave.
  3. Add 1-2 drops of Food Coloring for pastel colors. Stir gently. Do no over stir, as chocolate will be come clumpy.
  4. Dip Oreo into the chocolate to coat as much of it as you can.
  5. Pull out, holding in the air for about 30 seconds to let it set some before placing on wax paper.
  6. Add Sprinkles or other decoration immediately to ensure they stick.
  7. GET CREATIVE!
Note: You can use the back of a spoon or a small spatula to make sure candy is spread evenly, however, for this I just left the spot where I held the Oreo undone because it would be covered by the whipped "grass" anyway.

Steps for Green Whipped Topping:

1. Place pre-made whipped topping in a cold bowl
2. Stir in a generous amount of food coloring. If using a natural food coloring, you will need more to get a brighter color. Also, if you put your colored whipped topping in the refrigerator the color will darken some after a few hours.

Now, let's put it all together.

Steps for Easter Egg Hunt Snack Pack Pudding Cups:

  1. Open your easy open SUPER Snack Pack PUDDING (lick top, discard)
  2. Add your "dirt" by sprinkling Crushed Graham Crackers or Oreos on top
  3. Scoop a heaping amount of grass/green whipped topping on top
  4. Hide your Egg (Chocolate Covered Oreo)
  5. Add Sprinkles or left over Graham Cracker/Oreo Crumbs
To mix it up a little I added Marshmallow Chicks to the top of some. ENJOY!
