Last weekend, we decided to check Santa off our list! My sister invited us to join them out at the Livingston square to see Santa and have a little lunch at The Gathering. I love going out there, it's so nice and growing but quiet. It's a bit of a drive for us, but always worth it!
We had a great time visiting with Santa. There weren't too many people there and we had plenty of time to get photos and tell Santa what we wanted! Jonah made sure he got to tell!
A new hotwheels race track, new hotwheels and a Santa mailbox! Then he went on to tell me that THAT was not the real Santa, just a guy dressed up. lol I told him that he was Santa's helper and that he MIGHT just be the real Santa.. you never know. He looked real to me!
There are a lot of photos here, but I couldn't choose just a few because the kid's faces were just too priceless in most of them! We ate lunch, made reindeer food, shopped The Mercantile and Tulip and chatted with Santa...
Like I said sorry for the photo dump, but I couldn't resist so many of this photos! I am so glad that in the midst of this crazy season, we got the chance to slow down and enjoy a nice afternoon in the beautiful weather!
I'd love to hear and see what all of you are up to this Christmas!
If you are local and looking for a Santa experience without having to take a number and wait 5 hours, make the trip to Livingston. =)
Linking up at Pierced Wonderings today =)
How fun!! Your boys look adorable in those plaid outfits- i was eyeing those pants for Landon but opted not to get them, now i'm regretting it! We haven't taken Landon to see Santa ever- they have one come to his preschool each year...so I let preschool do the job for me :) Is that awful? Maybe next year we'll take him and Avery :) Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love all the tartan!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to see Santa! We went downtown Fort Worth to see Santa tonight, but the line was WAY to long - not worth the wait.
