I can never choose just one or two photos to share. When I love a photo, I just can't keep it to just myself. Both of these photos for this week's project 52 post were taken last Sunday. These two sets of photos are very different but both very much my voice and what I want to convey through my lens.
Plus these boys...they just have my heart. I asked my sister to help me get a quick photo of Ezra as we were leaving a baby shower because the light was just so pretty, but E is a wild man and as soon as his feet hit the ground, he was off! So, we spent all of three minutes trying to get a photo and I gave up, but what we got describes the scene in the most perfect way and the light was still gorgeous.
Photographing Jonah these days isn't the easiest. He doesn't really want to let me capture him naturally, but doesn't necessarily tell me he doesn't want his picture taken, it's just more of an "on my terms" kind of thing. Isn't that the case with everything when you are dealing with a four year old though? On his terms. I feel like that dictates my life! After we came home from church, he asked if he could watch a little show while he waited on his cousin to come over. I said sure because I had to prepare lunch and that window light...it's just magic sometimes.
I'd love to see what photos you are sharing this week. Feel free to leave me some links in the comments section.

These are gorgeous photos Stephanie!! I'm looking forward to following along with your Project 52. I'm trying a 365 this year using mostly my iPhone but I think I will try to do a combination of my phone and DSLR. I really hope I can stick with it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy! Good luck on the the 365! The hardest part is just posting them all =)
