Mama Style | thredUp + a discount code!

It has been a while since I did a mama style post and honestly, I haven't gotten much new recently to show and am giving the subscription boxes a break for a while, but I did need a few great pieces for Spring and it always makes me feel so good to have something new in the closet that makes a statement and really makes it feel like the season has changed!  I am all about saving money right now and not spending a lot on myself! This means less clothes, less make-up, less fancy coffee. It means I get a lot in return though. By getting a little Spring refresh from thredUp I was able to not spend a fortune on great brands and I am taking part in upcycling clothing, it is Earth Day after all! It was pretty easy too. I just typed in a few descriptors, like the brand "Boden" and so much nice stuff came up. It even gave me the conversion for the UK sizing and what I got was 61% off retail. So, I ordered and waited on my polka dot box to arrive! 

I was pretty excited when I saw it at the front door on Friday, and immediately wanted to open it! When I opened the box, I found an invoice and the instructions for returning the items if I don't like them. How many consignment shops will let you return clothes? None that I know of! Awesome, because I really wasn't sure if what I picked would work for me or not. I was definitely leary of trying a romper... this will be my first. 

The whole box was packaged beautifully I almost didn't want to finish opening it, but I really wanted to try on the Boden Romper I got! I also got a white shirt from Banana Republic that is so gorgeous, it's going to have to have a post all it's own! 

Back to the romper! I'd love to hear your thoughts. I love the color (blue is very IN for Spring/Summer), the style is comfortable, yet makes a statement don't you think? 

 I am so not a model and need to work on my posing (yikes) but I do love the fit and comfort this romper gives me!
