The Wilde Olive Blog: Shark Pool Party

This week my nephew, Ben, turned 6 years old! It’s hard to believe all of these babies are growing up so quickly. He’s 6 months nearly to the day younger than Jonah, which means my big boy is officially 6 and a half! I know that everyone says it seems impossible that they grow up so fast but honestly I just don’t want to blink.

Before I share the party details with you, I want you to know that other than giving a few over-text opinions, I had nothing to do with this party. I DID, however, push for the shark theme, make the invite and take these pictures. 😊

This party was short and sweet and different because we got to have a swim party in April on a rainy day. It was great and I’m sure all of the kids left exhausted. Which really is the best confirmation of a good party!

My sister Andrea made the cupcakes at home, tinted the buttercream icing and rolled and cut the fondant shark fins. On a side note, it was very humid today in Mississippi so if you notice a wobbly fin... it’s because of the 100% humidity.
